    Shots 2 to 4.
    Full CG explanatory shots for a scientific documentary about Earth magnetic activity.
    Everything done with XSI (ICE) and Fusion.

    • - Look development, FX development and animation, layout, rendering, compositing.
  • Dancer : Personal work

    Entry for the VFX308 challenge (VFX Talk forum).
    We had to recreate the scene of the Dancing Oracle at Delphi from Zack Snyder's feature film "300".
    The dancer live footage was provided.
    Everything done with XSI and Fusion.

  • Bunny Maloney : Professional work

    Shots 3 to 8.
    Animated TV series where 3 friends spend half their time acting as a conflicted band of self-absorbed neurotics and the other half being the self-appointed Superhero Crime Fighters of PROTECTEAM who combat the daily diabolical threats of the evil scientist Professor Débilouman.
    All shots done with XSI and Fusion.
    Work done :

    • - Scripting :
      Automatic biped characters rigs creation (based on a generic character rig create by Julien Bagory and Thibault Massart),
      Dynamic netview for set, prop, character, vehicle, FX and animation assets storage,
      Mirror pose/animation, copy/paste pose/animation for animators,
      Automatic characters and vehicles render passes creation (with specificities according to assets in shot),
      Automatic footages reload for shot compositing,
      Workflow enhancement scripts for modellers, riggers, layout artists, animators, lighting artists, FX animators, compositors.

    • - FX development and animation :
      Shot 3 - atomic mushroom,
      Shot 4 - windows shatter,
      Shot 5 - character on fire,
      Shots 6 and 7 - super soldier,
      Shot 8 - atomic flea.

    • - Compositing :
      Use of references compositions for all sets, characters and vehicles in all shots,
      Integration or creation, animation of all others elements in compositions (speedlines, motion graphics, ...).

  • Fantastic Four : Professional work

    Shots 9 to 12.
    Animated TV series based on Marvel "Fantastic Four" license. Mix of 2D (characters) and 3D (environment, vehicles) animations.
    Our studio was in charge of the 3D part and the 2D/3D compositing of the series.
    All shots done with XSI and Fusion.
    Work done :

    • - 3D layout, FX animation, lighting, 2D/3D compositing for all shots.
  • Code Lyoko : Professional work

    Shots 13 to 27.
    Animated TV series where 5 teenage heroes evolve between the real world (2D) and a virtual world (3D) called "Lyoko".
    Our studio was in charge of the full 3D part of the series.
    All shots done with XSI and Fusion.
    Work done :

    • - FX development and animation :
      Shot 13 - ship teleportation and liquid splash,
      Shot 14 - dust,
      Shot 15 - sea monster explosion : mix of another animator "monster explosion FX" (energy wave), "torpedo trails FX" and particles animations I did (trails and bubbles),
      Shot 16 - liquid splash,
      Shot 17 - ground shattering,
      Shot 18 - smoke chasing,
      Shot 19 - ship/tower connection,
      Shot 20 - monster disintegration,
      Shot 21 - modification of the exact same shot, made by another animator and taking place in a desert canyon,
      Shot 22 - ice block shattering,
      Shot 23 - slimy thing : use of another animator "slim FX", I managed to animate it like a tidal wave,
      Shot 24 - ice blast.

    • - FX compositing :
      Creation of the compositions except for shots 15, 21, laser of shot 22 and 23. Use of references compositions instead.
